Ted Cho

CEO at Skelter Labs

Ted Cho has an extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Ted began their career in 1991 as a Student Researcher at IBM. In 1993, they co-founded Serome Technology, Inc. and acted as its CTO. In 1999, they co-founded Dialpad Communications, Inc. and acted as its CTO. In 2000, they became the CEO of Serome Technology Investments, during which they made investment decisions for four start-ups. In 2002, they became the CEO of Navicourse, Inc. In 2004, they became the CEO of Opinity, Inc. In 2007, they became the Engineering Site Director for Korea at Google. In 2014, they became a Partner at & Beyond and the CEO of Skelter Labs, where they built technology and products, machine intelligence, and dreams.

Ted Cho obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University from 1984 to 1988. Ted then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) from 1988 to 1990. Finally, they earned a PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from KAIST from 1990 to 1995.
