As in-house counsel, Meg helps develop and implement corporate compliance policies related to government-contract, federal-grant, employment and other relevant laws and regulations. She manages Skeo’s state and local government contracts and provides legal and cost reviews for Skeo’s development process. Additionally, Meg has extensive experience helping states and municipalities create regulatory, planning and policy initiatives to facilitate sustainable development within their communities. This experience includes the development of trainings, manuals, reports, publications, and planning and regulatory recommendations on a variety of environmental and sustainable development topics. Meg recently contributed to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality’s Environmental Justice Study, for which she helped develop an EJ strategies framework and drafted the legal authorities section. Prior to joining Skeo, Meg worked as a staff attorney at Pace Law School’s Land Use Law Center in White Plains, New York, and she continues her work for the center as a sustainable development consultant. Meg is a member of the Virginia State Bar and serves as Editor of the Case Law Digest for the American Planning Association’s Planning and Law Division.
