Javier Torres Niño

Javier Torres Niño is a software engineer who specializes in infrastructure. Javier is currently employed at Sketch, and has previously worked at Bdeo, CARTO, and Piece of Earth. At Bdeo, Javier helped grow the technical team processes and mentored them in good practices. Javier also helped evolve the architecture of the application to avoid hitting AWS limits. At CARTO, Javier was responsible for technical decision-making and coordination across engineering. Javier also focused on CARTO's new data architecture, providing sub-300ms access to over 30TB of geographical data. At Piece of Earth, Javier created a company as part of the FABulous accelerator programme to be able to 3D-print terrain based models. Javier has also worked as a lead developer at Nimbeo and as a researcher in security at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

They are on a team with Ruben Almeida - Development, Aurimas Gasiulis - Development, and Simon Wolf - Development. Javier Torres Niño reports to Luis Bosque, CTO.
