Joshua Nozzi is currently a Development at Sketch. Prior to that, they worked as a Bioinformatics Software Engineer at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from April 2007 to September 2019. Joshua was also a contractor through Lockheed Martin during this time. Some of their notable accomplishments include building SPICE — a Mac OS X bioinformatics data mining and visualization application for the Vaccine Research Center — and designing the user experience for FERMS and PaVE (internal projects). In 2020, SPICE was used by NIAID in the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
From January 2005 to December 2006, Nozzi worked as a Network System Administrator and Software Developer at Allen & Shariff Corporation. Joshua also spent some time as a Technical Author at Peachpit from October 2010 to August 2011.
