Erika J. P-L

Erika J. P-L has been a Freelance Storyboard Artist for Sketchy since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Freelance Artist for Remote from 2015-2018. During that same time, they were a Stock Associate for The Michaels Companies, Inc. from 2018-2022. In 2018, they were a Sharkgrlz - "Sharkade" Freelance, self-employed Artist where they took care of Background Painting and worked with the co-director on taking the right shots from the 3D model that match the storyboards. From 2016-2018, they were a Sales Floor Associate for Macy's where they rang up customers, helped commissioners and supervisors on the floor, assisted customers, and stocked items. In 2017, they were a Freelance, self-employed Makeout Point Artist where they provided storyboards for action sequences, finalized background layouts, did background painting, and did rough animations for some shots in the film. Finally, they were a Freelancer Face Painter from 2013-2015.

Erika J. P-L received their High School Diploma from San Diego SCPA in 2015, where they studied Visual and Performing Arts. From 2015 to 2019, they attended The Art Institutes, where they studied Media Arts and Animation. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Storyboarding and Animation from Academy of Art University, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
