Soumya Mukherjee

Soumya Mukherjee has a strong work experience in the aerospace industry. They currently hold the position of Head of Aeroengine Sales - Europe at SKF Group since 2023. Prior to this, they were an MBA Candidate at IMD from 2022 to 2023.

At SKF Group, Soumya held various roles starting from 2012. They served as the Business Unit Head - India, Japan, Korea (S) from 2018 to 2021, where they successfully doubled revenue and resolved critical flight safety problems. They also worked as a Sales Manager for Japan and Korea, where they increased revenue and secured rights for direct sales to the Korean Ministry of Defense, resulting in significant profitability and added revenue.

In addition, Soumya worked as a Manager in Business Development, Strategic Alliances, and Partnerships - Aerospace Business, where they built key relationships and generated added revenue in the aerial defense and spacecraft segments. They also served as an Assistant Manager and Key Account Manager in the aerospace business at SKF Group.

Soumya Mukherjee obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ramaiah Institute Of Technology in the years 2008 to 2012. They also attended St. James' School (Kolkata) from 1993 to 2007. In 2022, Soumya pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at IMD and completed Applied Responsible Investment education at PRI Academy.
