Rachad Honein

Rachad Honein has extensive experience in the technology industry. Rachad is currently working as the CTO at Skie.io since June 2023. Prior to this, they founded CodeBits in September 2015 and has been actively involved in its operations. From November 2015 to June 2023, they served as the Head of Engineering at Velocity Technology Solutions.

Before that, Honein worked at Locaweb from February 2015 to September 2015 as the Engineering Executive Manager, where they recruited and managed a skilled software engineering team and implemented processes to improve engineering performance. From December 2013 to January 2015, Honein held the position of Products Engineering Manager at Locaweb, and from July 2010 to November 2013, they served as the Engineering Manager SaaS.

Honein also has experience as the Owner of funtoCode, a software development shop focusing on web applications, social media, and open-source products, from January 2010 to September 2015. Prior to this, from February 2008 to December 2009, they worked as a Senior System Consultant at Stefanini, where they served as a Technical Team leader.

Earlier in their career, Honein worked as a Senior Java Consultant at Sonda Procwork Informatica from October 2006 to February 2008, as an Engineering Manager at StarCall from November 2005 to August 2006, as a Software Engineer at AudioLink from November 2002 to August 2005, and as a Software Engineer at Actel from November 2000 to October 2002. Overall, Honein has demonstrated expertise and leadership in various technologies and management roles throughout their career.

Rachad Honein obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Notre Dame University between 1996 and 2000. Following this, Rachad pursued a Master's Degree in Information Systems at the same university. The duration of Rachad's master's program is not specified.
