The founding team at Skift has a long history of experience in the media industry, with a focus on digital media. They have served on the boards of various organizations, including the Media Development Investment Fund, the Investigative News Network, and the Asia Society. Additionally, they have advised companies such as Gigaom. The team is also well-educated, with degrees in computer engineering and journalism from Aligarh Muslim University and Indiana University Bloomington, respectively.
