Gajalakshmi Chittibabu's work experience begins with their current role as an Instructional Design Specialist at Skill-Up Technologies since March 2022. Prior to this, from March 2020 to February 2022, they worked as an Instructional Design Consultant.

In 2019, Gajalakshmi worked at Cognizant as an Associate Projects - Instructional Designer from June to December.

Before joining Cognizant, they served as Sr. Instructional Designer at Tech Mahindra from January 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they performed training needs analysis, created course curriculum and design documents, and led peer groups.

Prior to Tech Mahindra, they worked as an Instructional Designer at Wipro from July 2016 to January 2017. Their responsibilities included curriculum design and content development.

In 2015, Gajalakshmi worked at Emantras as an Instructional Designer, focusing on visualization and storyboarding. Gajalakshmi also served as a Guest Lecturer at Madras Christian College during the same year, specializing in subjects such as public relations, advertising, reporting, news writing, and travel journalism.

Gajalakshmi's professional journey began as a Freelance Writer at THEOS from September 2013 to June 2014, where they focused on copywriting and website content creation. Before that, they worked as a News Reporter at Talk Media & News Today from March 2011 to March 2013, and as a Web Content Writer at tamilchannel.com from November 2009 to December 2010.

Gajalakshmi Chittibabu completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electronic Media from Pondicherry University from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Madras Christian College from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they have acquired certifications in Learning Design Fundamentals from Coursera in June 2022 and has qualified the CBSE - UGC NET Examination in December 2014, conducted by the University Grants Commission of India.
