Gene Jones

Gene Jones is an experienced HVAC and plumbing professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an HVAC/Plumbing NCCER Instructor at Skilled Trades of West Alabama since September 2023, Gene has previously held positions as Logistics Controller at Premier Service Company Inc. and Environmental Health and Safety Manager, as well as Service Manager and HVAC Service Technician at Jones Heating A/C Plumbing and Electrical, Inc. Additionally, experience includes roles as Level III Technician at the University of Alabama and Corporate Service Manager at Refrigerated Construction Service. Gene's foundational skills began as a Journeyman Plumber/Pipefitter at McAbee Construction and earlier roles as an HVAC Service Technician. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching from The University of West Alabama, a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Southern New Hampshire University.
