George Thompson

George Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in evaluation, research, and analysis within both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Evaluation and Research Executive and Insights & Analysis Manager at Skills Development Scotland since October 2018, George previously held roles as an Economist at North Ayrshire Council and a Senior Analyst at Frontline Consultants. Additional experience includes positions as a Financial Analyst at Bank of Scotland Treasury and a Network Performance Analyst at Scottish Enterprise. George holds a Master of Arts (Honors) degree in Economics from the University of Aberdeen, earned between 1999 and 2003.
