Dani Zacarias

Dani Zacarias has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. They currently hold the position of Vice President, Community at Skillshare. Prior to this, they worked at Wattpad, where they held multiple roles including Head of Content and Creator Development, Interim General Manager, Tap by Wattpad, Director Content and Creator Development, and Creator Relations Lead. In these roles, they were involved in sourcing top talent from a pool of writers, editing and preparing stories for monetization, and transitioning the business model. Before joining Wattpad, Zacarias worked at Worldreader as the Director of Content and Senior Manager of Digital Publishing, where they led the content acquisition strategy, managed a team, and increased the book collection. They also have experience in corporate and donor relations coordination at Engineers Without Borders Canada and sales and editorial representation at Pearson, where they achieved significant sales growth and received accolades for their performance.

Dani Zacarias received an Hon. Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and English from the University of Toronto between 2002 and 2006.
