Darlene Deruchie, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1988, they worked as an Assistant Department Head of Accounting for Reitmans Canada Inc. Darlene then moved on to United Distillers Canada Inc. in 1991, where they served as a Financial Analyst and Financial Reporting Accountant. In 1999, they joined Whitehall Agencies as the Controller/Director of Finance, overseeing the Accounting Department and handling HR and Payroll duties. In 2012, they worked as a Financial Analyst - Corporate Accounting for the Liquor Board of Ontario, providing financial operations support and timely financial statements. Darlene then started their own company, DigitWyse Accounting in 2011, where they served as the Owner and performed accounting and bookkeeping duties for various clients. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Consultant for Newstart Canada, overseeing financial operations, raising new financing, and preparing documentation for new investments. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Controller for Grenville Strategic Royalty Corp, managing the purchase of non-dilutive royalties in high-quality companies. Currently, they are employed at Skin Vitality Medical Clinic, where they started as a Controller in 2017 and later became the Director of Finance in November 2018.

Darlene Deruchie, CPA, CMA has a strong education background in the field of accountancy. In 1982-1983, they attended John Abbot College, where they earned a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Commerce. Following this, from 1984 to 1987, they pursued their Bachelor of Commerce degree at Concordia University, specializing in Accountancy. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at The Society of Management Accountants from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained the Certified Management Accountant certification.
