Raymond DeRossette has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Raymond started their career as a Logistics Supervisor in the United States Marine Corps, where they managed a significant budget and supervised a team of 20 individuals. In 2007, they transitioned to the healthcare industry, working as a Radiographer at Merit Health River Oaks. Raymond then joined Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center as a Radiation Therapist, where they worked with various linear accelerators and utilized advanced imaging technologies for patient treatment. In 2015, Raymond joined Baton Rouge General Medical Center as a Radiation Therapist, operating Siemens Oncor and Varian Truebeam linear accelerators. Raymond'srole involved accurately simulating and administering radiation treatments to patients. Since 2019, Raymond has been working at SkinCure Oncology, initially as a Lead Radiation Therapist, where they specialized in treating non-melanoma skin cancers using a Sensus SRT-100 Vision low-dose superficial radiotherapy machine. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Sales Consultant for the South Region at SkinCure Oncology.
Raymond DeRossette, MSRS, R.T.(R)(T) has a comprehensive education history in the field of radiologic science and health services administration. Raymond obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, specializing in Radiologic Science, from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Services Administration from Washburn University in 2017. In the same year, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science from Washburn University.
Earlier in their education, from 2007 to 2008, Raymond completed a Certificate in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiation Therapist from Washburn University. In 2004 to 2006, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer from Fortis College, Baton Rouge.
In addition to their extensive education, Raymond DeRossette holds several certifications. In 2008, they obtained a certification in Radiation Therapy from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Raymond also received certification as a Radiographer from ARRT in 2006. Recently, Raymond acquired a Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association in 2021.
