Jeff Karp

Jeff Karp has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jeff is the Co-Founder of Corner Therapeutics since September 2019. Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Brigham and Women's Hospital, including Professor of Anesthesia, Associate Professor, Co-Director of Regenerative Therapeutics, Assistant Professor, and Instructor of Medicine. Jeff also co-founded Landsdowne Labs in 2015. Jeff has served as an Editorial Advisory Board Member for TEDMED. Additionally, they are the Co-Founder, Scientific Advisory Board Member, and Board Observer at Alivio Therapeutics since May 2016. Jeff is an Associate Member of the Broad Institute since October 2015. Jeff Karp is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Scientific & Clinical Advisory Boards at TISSIUM since December 2013. Jeff has been involved in the Commercialization Council at Partners HealthCare since 2013. Furthermore, they co-founded Skintifique and served as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board starting from July 2012. In 2014, they co-founded Frequency Therapeutics and holds the position of Co-Founder and Member of the Regenerative Medicine Advisory Board. Jeff Karp has an extensive education history. Jeff pursued their high school education at Crestwood from 1989 to 1994, focusing on general studies. Following that, they attended McGill University from 1994 to 1999, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Moving forward, Jeff enrolled at the University of Toronto from 1999 to 2004, earning their PhD in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. After that, they furthered their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2004 to 2007, where they completed their PostDoc in Stem Cells and Advanced Biomaterials. Besides their academic achievements, they obtained a Strengths Resume certification from Scoutible in July 2022.
