Dane Bratz

Dane Bratz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dane is currently the Co-Founder and CTO at Skipper Hospitality since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Turing as the Director of Engineering Operations from November 2019 to April 2020 and as a Technical Lead / Engineering Manager from June 2019 to November 2019. Dane also served as a Software Engineer at Kite.com from January 2018 to June 2019.

Before their roles in the tech industry, Dane worked at Skillit Cooking Corporation as the CTO and Co-founder from December 2015 to February 2019. Dane was also the Technical Lead and Co-founder at Within, where they redesigned and maintained the backend API for a professional networking mobile application startup using .NET and SqlServer. Their tenure at Within was from January 2015 to November 2015.

Dane has gained valuable experiences outside of the tech industry as well. Dane worked as a Tutor at Compass Education Group from November 2014 to June 2015. Dane also had a role as the Chief Conceptual Officer at launchU from February 2014 to January 2015, where they participated in various aspects of product development and implementation.

In addition, Dane gained practical experience in the fishing industry. Dane worked as a Fisherman at Ocean Peace, Inc. from June 2012 to August 2013 and at Aleutian Spray Fisheries from June 2009 to September 2011. These experiences allowed him to cultivate personal strength and excellence while working long hours, and they also had the opportunity to engage in introspection and reading during their free time.

Lastly, Dane's work experience dates back to their time at Edmonds Woodway HS, where they served as the President from September 2006 to June 2009.

Dane Bratz pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University between 2009 and 2013.
