Subrata Roy

Subrata Roy has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to IT and SAP implementation. Subrata'smost recent position was as Sr. GM - Head of IT at Skipper Limited since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as DGM - ERP & Application Management at Usha Martin Ltd. from June 2016 to April 2021, where they successfully implemented a SAP project across the company. Subrata also held the role of Head SAP & Systems at Kalisma Corp Pvt Ltd from September 2015 to June 2016, leading a SAP R3 realignment project named "SUPERB" and focusing on sales planning, production planning, procurement, and maintenance. Before that, Subrata worked as AGM Systems at Hindusthan National Glass & Industries Limited from July 2014 to September 2015, leading a SAP implementation project named "LAKSHYA" and focusing on sales planning, production planning, and procurement. Subrata also served as AGM-IT at Rockman Industries Ltd. from June 2012 to July 2014, Senior Manager-IT at Rubamin Limited from July 2008 to June 2012, and Assistant Manager IT & SCM at Apollo Tyres Ltd. from May 1998 to July 2008. Subrata started their career as a Trainee Programmer at Simplex Infrastructures Limited in January 1991 and progressed to the role of Senior Programmer before leaving in July 1995.

Subrata Roy's education history begins in 1975 when they attended DON BOSCO LILUAH, where they pursued a degree in ICSE. Subrata completed this program in 1985. Following this, Subrata enrolled at Datapro Information Technology in 1989 and graduated in 1991 with a Masters Diploma in Computer Science (MCS).
