Steven Hinton

Steven Hinton is an experienced engineering and operations professional currently serving as VP of Capacity Center Operations at Skipping Stone, a position held since September 1999. In this role, Steven oversees data center operations, office administration, and consulting assignments in mechanical engineering and automated electronic data processing. Previously, Steven worked as Operations Manager at TransCapacity LP, where responsibilities included managing data collection and quality assurance for natural gas pipeline transporters. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at NCASI - Tufts University, conducting significant research related to chemical impacts on aquatic environments, and as a Senior Energy Engineer at RS&H, focusing on energy conservation improvements. Steven holds a PhD in Sanitary Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, and a BS in Forest Engineering from the University of Florida.
