Michael Wueest

Michael Wueest serves as the Head of Service Region West at Škoda Group since April 2023, bringing extensive experience in the rail industry. Previously, Michael woked at Alstom as the Director of Product Introduction Locomotives from February 2021 to April 2023, overseeing various aspects of locomotives including testing and market introduction. Prior to this role, Michael held several key positions at BOMBARDIER, demonstrating expertise in product introduction and warranty optimization from 2002 to 2021. Michael's career in the industry began at ABB/Adtranz as a Senior Commissioning Engineer, with foundational experience at BBC Brown Boveri as a Commissioning Engineer. Michael earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Computer Engineering from ZHAW in 1991.
