Alexander Chekanov

Alexander Chekanov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology development. Currently serving as the Head of Start-ups' Incubation Programmes at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Alexander screens over 100 early-stage deep-tech projects annually and provides mentorship and investment support. As a co-founder of multiple companies including MoleculaPRO LLC, Polymereat LLC, Protein Forge LLC, Eco Energy LLC, and Tag Trace Systems LLC, Alexander has spearheaded initiatives focused on optimizing oil extraction, biotechnology for plastic degradation, renewable energy solutions, and anti-counterfeiting technologies. Additionally, Alexander is involved in academic research as an Innovation & Platforms' Ecosystem Researcher and PhD candidate at La Salle Campus Barcelona, while also holding previous research roles at ESADE Business & Law School. Alexander’s academic credentials include multiple degrees in Management Sciences and Business Management from prestigious institutions such as ESADE.
