Mikhail Salnikov

Mikhail Salnikov is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and bioinformatics. Currently employed at AIRI, Mikhail also serves as a researcher and research manager at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology's NLP group since May 2022. Previous roles include researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute focusing on protein-protein interactions and mutations' effects on protein function, as well as a junior research engineer at Skoltech’s ADASE, concentrating on sequence processing and graph processing. Mikhail's earlier experience includes a data scientist position at Wallarm, where work involved machine learning research for cybersecurity applications. Mikhail holds a Master's degree from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Mordovia State University.
