Andy Booth has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Andy began their career as a Research Executive at Research Bureau Ltd (RBL) in 1980, followed by a role as a Research Manager at British Airways from 1985 to 1988. From 1984 to 1993, they worked as a Market Research Manager at DHL Worldwide Express. Andy then joined UPS as a Marketing Manager from 1993 to 1995, and subsequently worked as a Research Director at MSB (Managing The Service Business) from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, they established their own company, Marketing Direction, which focused on media work and the service sector. Andy was the Owner of Marketing Direction until 2009 when the company faced challenges due to a takeover and decline of non-digital media. Booth then worked as a Client Director at Circle Research from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, they transitioned to SKOPOS as a Client Director. In 2012, they became a Partner at Firebrand Insight, a business-intelligence consultancy focused on achieving positive change for service sector clients. That same year, Booth also became the Owner of Alpha Bravo Marketing Insight, which is an insights-based consultancy in travel, transportation, and logistics that falls under Firebrand Insight.
Andy Booth attended Ellesmere College from 1970 to 1976. Andy then continued their education at Durham University from 1977 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature.
