Antti Petajisto

Antti Petajisto has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Antti started in 2003 as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Yale University's School of Management. In 2009, they moved to New York University's Stern School of Business as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance. In 2011, they joined BlackRock as a Researcher and Portfolio Manager, where they worked on the emerging markets team within Scientific Active Equities, researching new signals for systematic trading strategies in equities and ETFs, and creating and implementing a novel portfolio optimization framework. Antti then moved to LMR Partners in 2016 as a Researcher and Portfolio Manager, and in 2018, they joined quantPort as a Researcher and Portfolio Manager. In 2020, they joined Walleye Capital as a Researcher and Portfolio Manager, and in 2021, they became a Board Member and Advisor at Once Mining, as well as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of California, Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Most recently, they joined Brooklyn Investment Group in 2023 as the Head of Equities. Additionally, they have been an Independent Consultant and Speaker since 2006.

Antti Petajisto holds a Ph.D. from the MIT Sloan School of Management, which they obtained in 2003 after studying Finance. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Helsinki University of Technology in 1998.
