Jordan D. Nelson

Jordan D. Nelson has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Jordan D. began their career as a Deployment Intern at Rubicon International in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at Vanderbilt University. From 2015 to 2022, they worked as a Developer at Reax, LLC and Metova, Inc., where they architected and implemented features for various customers including a Fortune 1000 company. At Metova, Inc., they also communicated timelines, requirements, and internal know-how with customers and colleagues in a professional manner, and mentored junior developers and reviewed code on a multi-year project. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Brooklyn Investment Group.

Jordan D. Nelson attended Vanderbilt University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a B.S. in Chemistry and Secondary Education. Jordan D. then went on to Portland State University from 2012 to 2014 as a Postbaccalaureate Student, studying Computer Science. In June 2012, they obtained a 416 Chemistry 7 - 12, Apprentice Teacher certification from the Tennessee Department of Education.
