Ida Nelson

Ida Nelson is an experienced professional in the field of transportation planning and mobility management, currently serving as an Expert in Transport Sector Transformation at Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner since January 2023. Previously, Ida worked as a Handläggare focusing on transport infrastructure and community planning at Naturvårdsverket from January 2020 to December 2022, and as an Expert in Sustainable Transport at SKL from May 2015 to December 2019. Ida's career includes significant roles in public transport planning at Sweco, where the focus was on mobility management, accessibility, and creating safe environments for schoolchildren. Early in the career, an internship was completed at NCC. Ida holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, earned between 2000 and 2008.
