Marcus Tan

Marcus Tan is the VP of Global Expansion at Skuad. Prior to this, they were with The Sixth Estate, Asian Worldwide Education, and AWET Pte Ltd. Marcus has also worked as the General Manager for Singapore and Western Australia at Cliftons.

During their time at Cliftons, Marcus was responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate growth and maximise profitability and capital value of the company within all service groups. This included owning and delivering on local digital and offline marketing strategies and initiatives. Notable achievements during this time include reducing revenue deficit by 30% in the first three months and improving revenues by 15% in the first half of FY 2019.

Marcus is skilled in identifying, developing, and commercialising new innovative services and product offerings. Marcus is also experienced in maximising the performance of sales and operations teams with recruitment, training, coaching, and management activities. In addition, Marcus has a proven track record in optimising and owning the working capital, CAPEX, and cash flow of venues.

Marcus Tan has a Doctorate in Business Administration from Hult International Business School, a Global MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, and a Degree in Commerce from Deakin University. Marcus also has a Diploma in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Australian Logistics Academy and a Diploma in Marketing & eCommerce from the Melbourne Institute of Business & Technology. In addition, they have certification from Nanyang Technological University in CEO Roundtable Fintech Masterclass, Fintech and Innovation, Big Data and Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Finally, they have a certification from SIDDHI YOGA in Principles of Ayurveda.

They work with Manish Jajodia - Head of Sales, South East Asia, Payel Basu - Head of Marketing, and Praveen Awasthi - VP, Engineering. Marcus Tan reports to Sundeep Sahi, Co-Founder & CEO. and Navratn Singh - Head of International Expansion & Growth reports to Marcus Tan.
