Payel Basu

Payel Basu is the Head of Marketing at Skuad. Payel has over 15 years of experience in marketing and has held various positions at companies such as Zycus and MoveInSync.

At Zycus, they were the Director of Marketing and was responsible for leading the company's Go-to-Market efforts.

At MoveInSync, they were the Vice President & Head of Marketing, where they launched the new business 'GetToWork', a subscription-based shared mobility product. Payel also led customer acquisition and growth marketing efforts, as well as performance marketing to increase acquisition & retention.

Basu has also authored a white paper with IIT Madras to establish EV in employee transportation space and has launched the Women Safety Handbook with National Council for Women (Govt. of India) to establish brand’s caregiver identity and improve pan India visibility.

Payel Basu has a Master of Business Administration from the Indian School of Business, with a focus in finance, strategy, and leadership. Payel also has a certificate in marketing and digital marketing from Cornell University. Payel Basu's undergraduate degree is in architecture from IIEST, Shibpur.
