Rahul Jain

Rahul Jain has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering and data analytics fields. Rahul began their career in 1998 at InterWave Communications as a Software Team Leader, where they were responsible for hands-on technical management of the mobile switching engineering teams. In 2005, they joined Alvarion Inc. as Mgr NSS Software, followed by a role at Acnovate Inc. as a Consultant in 2008. Rahul then joined LGC Wireless in 2006 as Director CDMA Software, where they were responsible for wireless product development with engineering teams spread out over multiple locations. In 2008, they co-founded Anjan Consulting and provided software licensing, consulting and analytics services to enterprise customers. In 2013, they became Lead Instructor at BigData CourseWare, where they developed course material and offered training to experienced professionals in big data technologies. In 2014, they joined AT&T as Director of Engineering, where they led the Big Data Platform engineering team. In 2019, they joined Proofpoint as Director Of Engineering, where they led the Threat Detection engineering teams. Currently, they are the Head of Data at Skupos Inc.

Rahul Jain obtained their B.E. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Rahul then earned their MBA in Finance and Management from Santa Clara University in 2003. In 2005 and 2007, they obtained their CFA from the CFA Institute. In 2010 and 2011, they earned a Data Mining and Applications Graduate Certificate from Stanford University. In 2017, they obtained an Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree from Udacity. Rahul is currently in the process of obtaining a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera.
