Grant Kennon has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in the legal, risk management, and strategy fields. Grant most recently served as the Vice President & Chief Legal Officer/Chief Strategy Officer at Sky Lakes Medical Center, where they were responsible for guiding strategic initiatives and driving new business models to address the changing healthcare environment. Before that, they held the position of Vice President & General Counsel at the same company, where they also served as the Chief Quality, Risk, and Compliance Officer. Additionally, they have previous experience as the Director of Risk, Quality, and Resource Management at Sky Lakes Medical Center, and as the Director of Insurance at Merle West Medical Center (now Sky Lakes Medical Center). Kennon has also served on various boards and committees, including the Board of Directors at Cascade Health Alliance, LLC and Cascade Comprehensive Care Inc., and the Subscriber's Advisory Committees at Mountain States Healthcare Reciprocal Risk Retention Group and Health Future Insurance Exchange.

Grant Kennon has a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Political Science from Southern Oregon University, which they obtained in 1997. Grant later pursued a Doctor of Law degree from Willamette University College of Law, completing their studies in 2000. Most recently, they have been attending the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, where they are working towards a Master of Health Administration degree. Grant'seducation at the University of Minnesota is expected to conclude in 2021.
