Alix Pryde

Alix Pryde is an accomplished technology strategist and business operations director with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Strategy & Business Operations for Global Streaming at Sky since August 2016, Alix oversees the delivery of streaming services across approximately 75 countries. Alix also plays a pivotal role in promoting gender diversity in technology as the Senior Sponsor for Sky TECHWomen, aiming for 30% representation of women in technology by 2025. Additionally, Alix has held key governance positions, including Council Member and Finance & Investment Committee Member at Queen Mary University of London, and Trustee of the Institute of Physics. Alix's previous experience includes leadership roles at Vodafone, Freeview, and the BBC, where contributions spanned innovation development, strategic planning, and operational oversight. Alix Pryde holds a PhD in Theoretical Mineral Physics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Physics from UCL.
