Rhiannon Elston

Rhiannon Elston is an experienced journalist and presenter currently serving as the Presenter for Sky News Weather since August 2020, collaborating with meteorologists to provide updates on extreme weather events. Previously, Elston was the South Australia Correspondent for SBS World News from July 2012 to August 2020 and has held various roles in journalism, news production, and editing at notable organizations including Network Ten, Sky News, Science Illustrated, and The Australian. Elston holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History from UNSW. Additionally, Elston is pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Modern Languages, specializing in Indonesian. Notable achievements include hosting "Lismore, The Recovery" in February 2023.
