Karen Barna

Karen Barna has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, specializing in business and legal affairs. Karen is currently working as the SVP Business & Legal Affairs, Theatrical at Skydance since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Solstice Studios from November 2018 to February 2021. From March 2015 to November 2018, they worked as the EVP, Business & Legal Affairs at Bold Films, where they oversaw all business and legal affairs matters and negotiated significant deals. Karen also held the position of SVP Business Affairs at Summit Entertainment / Lionsgate from June 2002 to July 2012.

Karen Barna holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Detroit Mercy. Karen has also attained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
