Jonathon Sowers

Jonathon Sowers is a Senior Software Engineer at Skydio since December 2021, previously serving as a Software Engineer at H3D, Inc. from January 2018 to December 2021. At H3D, Jonathon developed customized Linux kernel and Ubuntu distributions for ARM-based embedded systems, maintained server software in C++ for data collection from various instruments, and created automated configuration management software in Golang. Prior experience includes roles as an IoT Infrastructure Engineer and Electrical Field Engineer at GE Power & Water and GE Transportation, respectively. Jonathon began their career with multiple engineering co-op positions focusing on project management and process analysis. Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, earned in 2012.
