Krishna Swaminathan

Krishna Swaminathan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in imaging and sensing technologies. Currently serving as the Head of Imaging, Sensing and Illumination and Head of Camera Hardware at Skydio since October 2021, Krishna previously held the position of Camera Module Design Lead at Apple from January 2018 to October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Product Development Engineer in Perceptual Computing (RealSense) and Photonics Researcher within the Silicon Photonics Solutions Group at Intel Corporation, from January 2012 to December 2017. Krishna holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, an MS in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Delaware, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras.
