Zak West

Zak West is an experienced professional in hardware development and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Hardware Development at Skydio since May 2015, focusing on rapid iteration of complex test platforms and hands-on design of advanced flying devices. Previous experience includes a role as UAV Engineering/Tech at Matternet Inc. and as an Associate R&D Engineer at Shifamed. At Voyage Medical, Zak contributed to the development of a cardiovascular ablation device, involving component design and assembly of electronic controls. Zak's career began at AeroMicro Inc. in sales and customer service, where interaction with customers and product organization were key responsibilities.
