Timothy Jim is an experienced aerodynamics specialist currently employed at SkyDrive, Inc. since October 2022, focusing on air mobility and vehicle integration. Previously, Timothy served as a PhD researcher at Tohoku University from April 2017 to October 2022, working on low boom supersonic aircraft optimization using Bayesian optimization and machine learning techniques. Timothy's earlier experience includes a role as an aeromechanics research engineer at Airbus Group Innovations where contributions were made to civil aircraft analysis, and an internship at AMRC with Boeing, which involved developing a quick stop device for aerospace applications. Timothy earned a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Tohoku University, an MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University, and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Sheffield, along with A-Levels in science subjects from Bramdean School.
