Alberto Fernández González

Alberto Fernández González has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Alberto started their career at CESA - COMPAÑIA ESPAÑOLA DE SISTEMAS AERONÁUTICOS, S.A. as an Assistant in the stress and fatigue calculation area, where they were responsible for creating finite elements models and conducting analytical calculations. Alberto then became a Performance and Dynamics Engineer in the Simulation area, specializing in dynamic and performance analysis of various aircraft systems.

Afterward, Alberto joined Airbus as an EF Flight Control System - Equipment Design Engineer, where they managed requirements and generated technical contract documents for the Eurofighter FCS Electronic Equipment Design.

Alberto later joined Lilium as a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Flight Control Actuators, where they played a key role in the development of the Propulsion Vectoring System (PVS), leading a team and managing the schedule plan and milestones for the entire system.

Currently, Alberto works at Skydweller Aero as an Electromechanical Actuations Engineer.

Alberto Fernández González completed their BSc/MSc in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical (structures and installations) from Universidade de Vigo from 2003 to 2009. In 2009, they also completed their Final Project at Institut français de Mécanique avancée as part of the Erasmus program. Alberto pursued a PGD Master's degree in Theoretical & Practical Application of Finite Element Method & CAE Simulation from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (U.N.E.D.) from 2017 to 2018.

Additionally, Alberto Fernández González obtained several certifications. In February 2021, they completed the "Model-Based Systems Engineering: Documentation and Analysis" course from MIT xPRO. In October 2020, they obtained the "Project Management expert certificate" from UNED - Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (Spain). In February 2018, they obtained the "B1 Zertifikat Deutsch Test für Zuwanderer" certification from Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF).
