Alfonso del Carre has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Alfonso is currently working as an Aircraft Conceptual Design Engineer at Skydweller Aero since April 2023. Previously, they were a Software Engineer - AI Applications at Helsing from October 2022 to March 2023.

Before that, Alfonso worked at Skydweller Aero from June 2022 to October 2022 as a Dynamics Lead, primarily focusing on Loads and Flight Dynamics for Medium and High Altitude Pseudo-Satellites. Alfonso also performed telemetry analysis and monitoring and participated in ground and flight tests. Prior to this role, they held positions as a Senior Dynamics Engineer and an Aeroservoelasticity/Dynamics Engineer at Skydweller Aero from July 2021 to June 2022 and January 2020 to July 2021, respectively.

Additionally, Alfonso worked as a Postgraduate Researcher at Imperial College London from September 2016 to January 2020, where they conducted research on the aeroelasticity of very flexible aircraft at low altitudes. Alfonso was fully funded by Airbus Defence and Space's Zephyr project.

Starting from September 2015 to September 2016, Alfonso worked at Airbus Group Innovations as a High Altitude Pseudo Satellite Aeromechanics Engineer and as an Aeromechanics Intern. Prior to that, they served as a Collaborator at the Applied Mathematics & Statistics Department and as a Fellow at Universidad Politénica de Madrid from May 2012 to July 2014 and June 2013 to September 2013, respectively.

Alfonso del Carre's education history demonstrates a strong focus on aerospace engineering. Alfonso obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, spanning the years 2010 to 2014. Alfonso then pursued further education at Imperial College London, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, from 2014 to 2015. Continuing their academic journey, they subsequently pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aeroelasticity at Imperial College London, which they successfully completed from 2016 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Alfonso del Carre acquired additional certification in a specialized field. Alfonso completed the DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization from Coursera, obtaining the certification in February 2022.
