Enrique Babio is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems. Currently serving as the Guidance, Navigation & Control Deputy Lead and Engineer at Skydweller Aero, Enrique has been instrumental in system requirements, architecture definition, and critical design reviews for perpetual solar flight. Prior to this role, Enrique was an Interplanetary Mission Analysis and Navigation Engineer at Deimos Space, where contributions included developing tools for orbit raising and contingency analysis for planetary missions. Enrique also held the position of Flight Control Engineer and Fixed Wing Lead at UAV Navigation, focusing on aircraft control solutions and improving performance and safety through extensive modeling and analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Competencies include control loop design, flight testing, product testing, and validation, with expertise in MATLAB and C/C++.
