Pauli Vartia

Pauli Vartia is a Communications Specialist and Web Editor at the Geological Survey of Finland since March 2011, focusing on content provision, communications networking, web page development, and electronic commerce development. Prior experience includes serving as a Webmaster at Stockmann plc from August 2003 to March 2011 and as a Sales Representative at the same company from 1997 to 2003. Vartia also worked as a Researcher at Suomen ympäristökeskus from 1995 to 1996, concentrating on Environmental Impact Assessment implementation in Finland. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Helsinki (1989-1997) and a Specialist qualification in retail business management from Finnish Business College (2005-2006), along with a diploma from Riihimäen lukio (1986-1989).
