Meraj Rasool Khattak

Meraj Rasool Khattak has extensive experience in software engineering and DevOps. Meraj is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at SkyElectric Pvt. Ltd, where they lead and mentors diverse teams working on IoT, Cloud, Smart Apps, ML/AI projects. Meraj is responsible for product design and release phases across various platforms. Prior to this role, they worked as the DevOps Lead at the same company, ensuring the uptime and performance of production systems. Before joining SkyElectric, Meraj served as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Convo.com, where they automated server and build processes and achieved high server uptime. Meraj had also founded their own IT consultancy firm, PivotalSigns, where they provided expert consultancy in open source software and delivered tailored solutions to clients. At GoodCore Software Limited, Meraj started as a Software Engineer and progressed to the role of Senior Technical Lead. Meraj played a pivotal role in developing trading applications and a Villa Rental Management system using PHP, MySQL, AWS, and RackSpace.

Meraj Rasool Khattak completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Allama Iqbal Open University from 2005 to 2007. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Information Technology degree in Computer Science from Virtual University between 2009 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, Khattak acquired several certifications, including Apache Cassandra™ 3.x Administrator Associate from DataStax in 2020, Scylla Operations and The Mutant Monitoring System (MMS) from ScyllaDB in 2020, and Scylla Essentials Course from ScyllaDB in 2019. Khattak also obtained a certification in Programming Core - Data Structure from IBM.
