Aaron Garland

Aaron Garland has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Aaron currently works at SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. as the CSIRC Cyber Threat Intelligence Team Lead, where they spearhead the development of in-house tools and manages the integration of various threat intelligence platforms. Aaron also aids in the implementation of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and provides actionable intelligence for incident response. Prior to this, Aaron worked as a Sr. Cyber Security Incident Response Analyst at SkyePoint Decisions, Inc., where they analyzed incident-related data and conducted forensic analysis of malicious code. Before joining SkyePoint Decisions, Inc., they worked as a Helpdesk Analyst at SAIC, where they served as a service desk agent and team lead for security incidents and VDI. Aaron also gained experience as a National Security Cyber Counter-Terrorism Espionage Analyst at NATIONAL SECURITY CONSULTING & INVESTIGATIONS PLLC and as a Field Service Rep II at Advanced Technology Services. Additionally, they completed an internship as a National Security Cyber Intelligence Analyst at NATIONAL SECURITY CONSULTING & INVESTIGATIONS PLLC.

Aaron Garland obtained an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Illinois Central College, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Aaron later pursued a degree in International Security and Intelligence Studies, with a focus on Intelligence Analysis, at Bellevue University from 2014 to 2016.
