Petra Kuret

Petra Kuret has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Petra is currently the Head of Partnerships at SkyHive, where they lead the growth strategy with Fortune 500 clients. Prior to that, they worked at Vancity as the Senior Vice President of Business Transformation and Senior Vice President of Human Resources, driving transformation programs and implementing change within the organization. Before Vancity, Petra held various positions at Accenture, including Managing Director for British Columbia and Managing Director for Resources, where they managed corporate activities, oversaw strategy and business development, and specialized in utilities, oil and gas, and mining. In their earlier career, they worked in various roles in the Canadian government at the House of Commons and the Senate.

Petra Kuret's education history starts in 1988 when they attended Carleton University. Petra pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Science and Communications, completing their studies in 1993. In 1992, Petra also attended the University of Leeds, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. During the same year, they participated in a Leadership Course at the University of Oxford. Additionally, Petra spent the academic year of 1989 to 1990 as a student at Universite Canadienne en France in Nice, France, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.

Moving forward to 2016, Petra became a Fellow in Board Governance at the Canadian Board Diversity Council, obtaining this certification in February 2016. Petra is currently enrolled in the International Directors Programme at INSEAD since 2018, pursuing their degree. It should be noted that Petra also has a certification as a Certified Management Consultant, but details about the institution and years of completion are not available.
