James Jeter

James Jeter currently serves as the AVP of Community Development at Skyla Federal Credit Union, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, James worked with the United Way of York County from October 2013 to August 2022, first as the Director of Collective Impact/Resource Development, and then as the Vice President of Operations, where responsibilities included managing the organization’s strategic goals and donor relationships. Earlier experience includes positions at the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas as a Sponsorship Developer, and at the American Red Cross as the Specialized Markets Program Manager. James began a career in health promotion as a Wellness Ambassador with Pierce Promotions. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Winthrop University and further studies at Clemson University.
