Sara Williams serves as the Marketing Director at Skyla Federal Credit Union since July 2015, previously holding the titles of Marketing Manager and Marketing Specialist. Williams successfully led marketing initiatives during two significant mergers that boosted company assets from $800 million to over $1 billion and grew the member base to over 105,000. A key achievement includes orchestrating a comprehensive rebranding effort, transitioning from Charlotte Metro Credit Union to Skyla Credit Union in October 2022. This involved developing a new brand identity, redesigning branch signage, overhauling the website, and effectively communicating changes to stakeholders. Prior experience includes strategic communications and community build roles at KaBOOM! and an implementation internship at Teaching Strategies, LLC. Sara Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication, Nonprofit Leadership, Marketing, and Religion from High Point University, complemented by a semester at sea in 2013.
