Amarjot Singh, PhD is the Founder & CEO of SkyLark Labs, a company focused on developing artificial intelligence for real-time analysis of image and video analytics. Previously, Amarjot served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from 2019 to 2021. Amarjot also worked as a Scientist in the L2M Program at both the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and HRL Laboratories, LLC from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Doctorate in Deep Learning at the University of Cambridge, where their research focused on developing ScatterNet Hybrid Deep Learning networks. Amarjot has also held visiting positions at Harvard University and Brown University, where they worked on object classification and deep DTCWT ScatterNets. Amarjot has a background in biomedical image processing and worked as a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University, specializing in creating machine vision technologies for monitoring embryos in IVF procedures. Amarjot also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University. Amarjot started their career as a Research Engineer at the National University of Singapore and completed an internship at the University of Bonn.

Amarjot Singh, PhD, received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Deep Learning (Scattering) from the University of Cambridge, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Applied Science degree in Biomedical Image Processing from Simon Fraser University, where they attended from 2013 to 2014. Amarjot also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Furthermore, Amarjot Singh has acquired several additional certifications in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Image and Video Processing, Computational Photography, Digital Signal Processing, Machine Learning, and Programming Fundamentals. These certifications were earned from prestigious institutions such as Ecole Centrale Paris, EPFL, Georgia Institute of Technology, The University of Edinburgh, Duke University, and the University of Toronto, between the years 2012 and 2014.
