Robert Cates has a long history of work experience in the payments industry. Robert began their career in 2001 as a Product Services Manager at First American Payment Systems. In 2009, they held two positions simultaneously, Cash Advance Manager at APEX Merchant Group / Mulligan Funding and Director of Sales & Training at Texas Merchant Services. In 2010, they were a Leasing Specialist at First American Payment Systems. In 2011, they were a Corporate Sales Trainer at APEX Merchant Group. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Loyalty Sales Manager at Neopost. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been the Director of Business Development and Sales Manager at Skyline Payment Systems (SPS). As Sales Manager, they are responsible for the overall success and growth of the inside sales team, building the organization from the ground up to 40-50 sales reps and managers. Robert reports directly to the ISO Owner, hires the team, develops and implements sales training and incentive programs, motivates inside sales team members, and ensures the team meets quota.

Robert Cates obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Cameron University. Prior to this, they attended Lawton Senior High for their high school education.
