Veronica Villegas began their work experience in 2001 at HoustonWorks USA, where they worked as a QA Analyst for nine years. In 2011, they joined Skylla Engineering, starting as an Administrator/Subcontract Administrator and later assuming the role of Finance Administrator. In 2014, they became a Cost Accounting/Financial Planning Analyst II at the same company. In 2013, Veronica also worked at Skylla Support Fund as an Administrator.

Veronica Villegas began their education journey by pursuing their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Houston-Downtown. Veronica attended this institution from 2005 to 2007. Later on, Veronica decided to further enhance their educational qualifications by enrolling in the University of Houston-Downtown for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Veronica completed their MBA program from 2012 to 2014.
