Robert Marinelli has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Robert began their career in 1997 as a Contratado at the Ministry of Economy and Public Works and Services. Robert then moved on to work at the Ministry of Economy and Finance as a Consultor Team Leader, where they played a key role in implementing the Financial Management System in multiple government organizations. In 2007, they joined PSA Policia de Seguridad Aeroportuaria, initially as the Subresponsable del Departamento de Compras and later as part of the Unidad de Coordinación y Supervisión. Here, they were responsible for budget planning, procurement, and strategic coordination. In 2014, they transitioned to ARSAT S.A., where they served as the Jefe de Compras, managing productive purchases, service contracts, negotiations with suppliers, and coordination with internal clients. In 2020, they joined INTI as the Director Técnico de Proyectos de Infraestructura y Obras, overseeing technical projects and infrastructure developments. Most recently, they joined Skyloom Global in 2021 as the Supply Chain Manager. This diverse work experience showcases Robert's expertise in procurement, project management, and strategic planning.

Robert Marinelli completed their education at the University of Buenos Aires. From 1996 to 2003, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Later, in 2005, they enrolled in the university's Posgrado de Especialista en Administración Financiera del Sector Público (Specialization in Public Financial Administration). This indicates their academic focus shifted towards the administration of public finances within the field of economics.
