Jatin Singh has extensive work experience in the weather forecasting and agriculture risk solutions industry. In 2003, they founded Skymet Weather Services Pvt Ltd, India's largest private sector weather forecasting and agriculture risk solutions company. Jatin served as the Founder & CEO of Skymet Weather, where they led a team of experts in operational meteorology, numeric weather prediction modeling, remote sensing, and statistical data analysis. The company provided a wide range of services to government and private sector clients in industries such as agriculture, insurance, commodities, financial institutions, offshore oil & gas, power, and weather instrumentation.
In 2018, Jatin Singh took on the role of Founder & Chairman at Skymet Weather Services, focusing on using artificial intelligence and machine learning to support small-scale farmers. Additionally, in 2017, they founded and served as Director of GramCover, a company that provides insurance coverage to rural customers.
Jatin Singh completed their Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Boston University's Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies (Pardee School) from 1999 to 2001.
